The Westbound Train was on Track 1 Tonight

Its not a huge difference, the cars have shifted 10 feet to the left relative to the destination. Tonight the city of drugs and bars, that’s what it’s been to me as of late.

Did I even see the difference?

It was subtle. Angles of passing buildings were askew. Patterns I usually see, trees, telephone poles, and roads were all were further from the center of the universe.

The more I didn’t notice, the more I had an itch I’m too busy to scratch. A word on the tip of my tongue I wasn’t even looking for.

I had a better view of the accordion school. Didn’t know they had those. Could I play an accordion? If I wanted to, I would go to this place.

It became obvious when, since I always sat on the left side of the car, the train stopped and a platform appeared outside my window. I didn’t see it either.

The train called to everyone and they turned their heads. I heard it call every person over by their full names. Like so;

“This train is westbound to Philadelphia on track one. Westbound to Philadelphia, track one.”

There’s lots of families on the train tonight.

It’s nice. This train makes me carsick.
